What do you think of Mastodon's three latest releases for their new album?

They released "spectrelight", "curl of the burl", and "black tongue". I personally have nothing against riff albums, but I liked the more enchanting math/prog sound they had in their previous albums. You can still tell it's Mastodon's music though which is good. Just awful imo, I'm willing to bet that the new album will be terrible.
